When you use Statium, we collect the following information:

• Account info — your email address and display name
• Profile data — optional profile photo, bio, and favorite teams
• Games you log — sporting events, scores, notes, and photos you choose to add
• Device & usage data — basic information about how you interact with the app, used to improve the experience

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run the app and provide its core features
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure
• To display your profile, stats, and game history to friends you connect with
• To calculate badges, excitement scores, and leaderboard rankings

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We work with a small number of third-party services to operate the app:

• Base44 — our backend platform, which handles data storage and authentication
• ESPN — we fetch publicly available sports data (scores, win probability, player stats) to enrich your logged games

Your data is not shared with advertisers or sold to any third parties.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account through the app, all of your data — including your profile, logged games, and badges — is permanently removed. There is no way to recover it after deletion.

5. Children's Privacy

Statium is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
